About Me
I’m originally from Manila, Philippines and currently live in New York City.

I have over seven years of experience writing for magazines, newspapers, and websites. I founded Preen.ph, a lifestyle website for Filipino women, and Scoutmag.ph, a magazine and website for Filipino millennials.
I’ve interviewed a wide variety of subjects from different industries, like former Philippine President Fidel V. Ramos, reality TV stars Kylie Jenner and Rob Kardashian, Crazy Rich Asians author Kevin Kwan, and 3.1 Phillip Lim CEO
Wen Zhou.
My writing has also appeared in The Philippine Daily Inquirer, The Philippine Star, Mega Magazine, Metro Magazine, and Rogue Magazine.
Work Experience
2014 - Today
I was hired at Hinge Inquirer Publications as the Founder and Editor in Chief for Scout, a monthly magazine and website for Filipino millennials, and Preen.ph, a lifestyle website for Filipina women. In 2016, I moved to New York City and I continue to work as a freelance writer for both titles while contributing
to websites like Taste Collection and Sad Girls Club.
2011 - 2014
I joined The Philippine Star, a leading national broadsheet, as a Lifestyle Columnist. Every week, I covered travel, beauty, and fashion extensively in addition to writing local celebrity profiles. Working here also helped to hone my skills as a copy editor.
2009 - 2010
I worked at Mega Magazine as an Editorial Assistant and Staff Writer soon after graduating from college. In addition to being responsible for administrative tasks, I covered fashion, beauty, and events while profiling a variety of subjects and personalities for the magazine.

I graduated with an Honorable Mention.
I was also a a Dean’s Lister and a Candidate for Departmental Awardee and Best Thesis Award.
